開戰之前的Beirut







現在的Beirut





Dear Kathy:



I wish it wouldn't go directly into the "junk mails". :)

This is your friend Ragee, from Beirut.

You may surrised by this mail. This is the first time I write to you by e-mail.

Sorry that I didn't take my dictionary with me so please pardon me from terriblb spelling and grammar.

I borrowed this computer from a journo and I have to write to you quickly because he is waiting right beside me.



I hope you've got my last letter and so you may know why I write to you by e-mail.

Me and my family are leaving Rawcheh, and retreat to Tripoli in northern part of Lebanon later. And we will try to leave Lebanon, maybe go to Syria or Turkey(my anut nad her family lives there)

Now I can still hear the bombing nearby, Beirut now is a city of bombs, soilders, and blue UNs.

But don't worry, we are all fine. Just scared. :)

For few days we've lived in Red Cross shelter and today we go back to our home to pack.

So maybe I won't get your new letter. :<



But I promise, I will write to you ASAP when we find a save place to stay. And don't worry about that if I'll forget your e-mail address. It's so easy to remember!

我昨天晚上收到這封信



Ragee是我在當初那個瘋狂的筆友歲月中，少數到現在仍然保持聯絡的

他們家在Beirut靠海邊的Rawcheh，開一間小小的B&B Hostel

Ragee的全名是Ragheed Hannawi. 跟我一樣1981年生，今年25歲



他常常跟我說 Beirut很美、Rawcheh的海灘很漂亮、Samkeh Harra and Laban Immo很好吃

我也常常跟他說 Taiwan很美、Kenting的海灘很漂亮、Dumpling and Taiwanese snacks更好吃



我不了解為什麼有無謂的戰爭

掌權的人安安全全地躲在自己的堡壘中

卻是無辜的人民在替他們抵擋攻擊



台灣一天到晚有人唯恐天下不亂

上面有貪污、底下打嘴砲

新聞一開都是貪污收押第一家庭要不然就是影劇八卦

最近更是狂打情人節，不知道收了店家多少紅包來炒作

有一種東西叫做國際新聞你們知道嗎?

我想看看世界上發生了什麼事

但是一個小時的新聞裡跟國際情勢有關的不到10分鐘

怪不得很多人都說，現代人的視野裡只有台灣



剛剛看BBC，死亡人數已經破600

這600多人裡面，有多少人是真正的"目標"，也就是那些叛亂份子?

我相信可能連三分之一都不到

不管有多偉大的理想抱負或是神聖理由

民眾總是第一個受傷的

就像美國攻打伊拉克、或是Al-Qaeda開飛機撞WTC

這兩種行為對我來說都一樣



已經在胡言亂語了 =.=

想幫忙卻也幫不上

想關心也沒地方關心

只能默默祈禱 Ragee一家安好
